Coaching is a collaborative, non-directive, targeted conversation, which effectively utilises natural strengths and abilities to maximise potential and increase success with goals and objectives. Coaching is future-focussed and outcomes-based, and has structure and rigour to it. Coaches provide objective support and challenge, in balanced measure to ensure safety and trust, as well as stretch and growth beyond comfort zones.
A coach helps clients clarify thinking, set clear goals and action plans, improve decision-making, enhance communications skills to improve professional and personal relationships and develop Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Coaching is an impartial space to safely explore client issues and beliefs, through a series of questions designed to move them from the current situation to a more resourceful position. Stakeholders and the business are always kept in mind, so that coaching has far-reaching impact, way beyond the immediate process.

How we work with you
We conduct a chemistry meeting to ensure that client and coach are a good match. In an organisation, this meeting will be a 3-way meeting with the sponsor of the coaching (eg Line Manager), as well as the client. The goals, boundaries and confidentiality for the coaching programme will be established. Thereafter, an induction session follows, where current issues are highlighted, goals are identified, and a working relationship is co-designed. This session lasts for approximately 2- 3 hours.
Thereafter, typically, sessions last between 1-2 hours each, depending on the needs of the organisation and the client. Sessions can take place either face: face, or online via technology eg telephone, Zoom, Skype etc. Sessions will take place every 2-4 weeks, depending on urgency and momentum required.
The last session will be a journey tracker, to examine achievements during the coaching relationship, and confirm onward goals.
The process involves:
- Deep listening
- Targeted questions
- Helping clients maximise resources
- Helping clients overcome obstacles
- Helping clients solve their own problems
- Helping clients create an action plan
We offer coaching to businesses, entrepreneurs, teams and individuals.
‘Achievement seems to be connected with action. Successful men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.’
